| The 52nd Street project is an organization in the Hell's Kitchen section of NYC that pairs youth ages 9-18 with theater professionals to create original works. Lewis has been donating his time and talent as a mentor with this organization for many years. | |||

Stand Up! Records is an indie comedy label out of Minneapolis that has produced all of Lewis Black's CDs. Besides Lewis, Doug Stanhope, Jimmy Shubert and Rich Kronfeld are signed with this label. These guys aren't your run of the mill touring comics. Intelligent, angry, capable of pointed social and political commentary, but always hysterically funny, they are heads above the rest of the wannabes out on the circuit. So stop in, buy a CD or two and flip off the mainstream.
